About Katie
As a graduate of Northwestern University, Katie utilizes the Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST) approach when working with clients. She is empathetic and caring, while holding clients accountable to help them achieve their goals. Katie has helped clients work through complex trauma, negative thoughts, and maladaptive behaviors. The approach is integrative by utilizing a custom approach that draws from her training in a myriad of models, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, the Gottman Method and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to name a few. She is systemic in her acknowledgement of transgenerational patterns, cultural influences and the impact of other life factors.
Katie will provide a supportive environment- free of judgement, while also providing honesty and validation for these experiences. Katie has worked with diverse clients from all walks of life and is equipped to help you address your mental health and relational concerns.
